Module Cleaning
Manufacturers recommend that solar panels be cleaned at least once per year to reach their full potential. Most solar panels are engineered to clean themselves of light substances such as pollen with the occurrence of rain; however, heavy debris such as bird droppings, tree branches, and dust build-up will need to be removed manually.
If the system is located on the coast or in an area where the air is dry and dusty, the solar panels may need cleaning more often. We have the equipment and mild detergents to clean the system effectively, following manufacturer recommendations.
Component Replacements
We have built great relationships with top solar equipment manufacturers. If any component cannot be repaired on site, we will deal with the return merchandise authorization (RMA) process and expedite the replacement.
Most solar manufacturers provide a 25-year warranty on their products, substantiating that the only cost to you would be to replace these components if damage occurs. We work closely with most manufacturers and deal with the RMA process from start to finish.
Removal & Reinstallation
We offer removal and reinstallation of solar systems for homeowners who need their system to be either temporarily or permanently removed from the property.
In most cases, solar systems last longer than the actual roof. If the property is updating their roof, we will work closely with the roofing contractor to schedule a removal and reinstallation immediately so clients have minimal energy production loss.
If the system is being removed permanently, we will make sure the roof is repaired and the property is left the way it was before solar was installed.
Roof Leak Repair
Most roof-mounted solar systems require hardware that penetrates through the roof’s protective membrane, which can fail over time. Many roofing contractors are not able to touch the solar due to warranty reasons.
We have a team of qualified roofers with experience in all roof types that will locate and fix any leak.
System Inspections
Our inspection services are very beneficial for customers who are about to purchase a property with an existing solar PV system. We will evaluate the system's performance, check the integrity of the components, and give recommendations.
After the inspection, we will issue a certificate of completion with a full detailed report.
Critter Guards
One of the main culprits for solar system faults are critters nesting under the arrays and chewing through wires.
We have a team specialized in removing critters and nests from under the array while ensuring they are not harmed. We also install guards around the array to prevent animals from getting under.
